How long until I receive my order?
We strive to deliver your parcel within 7 working days after your payment has been processed.
You will receive an email with a tracking number as soon as your parcel is dispatched.
Its been more than a week and my order still hasn't arrived!
Remain Calm. If you have not received your purchase after 8 days please get in touch.
I was about to buy the epicness, but I was too slow, now its gone?!
Please note that if the product is out of stock it will be made to order. This can take up to an additional 2 weeks, because mass production isn’t our thing!
Things We Need:
We require that you give a day time telephone number for us to contact you on during delivery hours (Monday to Friday: 8am - 5pm) .
The Baked Bean reserves the right to amend changes to the shipping & returns at any time. All changes will be disclosed on this page.
Should a package not be delivered through no fault of ours (for example: no one on premises | unable to answer calls | invalid or incomplete address) we will attempt a second delivery after which if the package is not delivered, you will be liable for all additional costs associated with delivering the package to you.
Should you want a refund due to these failed attempts, you will be refunded the price of the goods less the additional shipping costs
1. If you are not happy with your purchase please contact us directly within 72 hours, items must be returned within 7 days of delivery of merchandise. (so you can’t use it then give it back)
2. Please send us an email stating the reason for return including clear pictures. (we need pictures – we like pictures)
3. Please note that items arriving after the 7-day return deadline will not be accepted and will be returned to sender.
4. Returns must be sealed securely in the same packaging in which you received it. If your product comes in a box, you'll have to place this box in a bigger box and seal the bigger box so as to not damage the product and packaging.
5. We will organise with our courier for a pick up of the product(s) from you to be delivered Chartwell, Fourways.
6. Goods will be inspected once received and if it is unused, still in the same condition and original packaging in which we sent to you, we'll give you a full refund on your purchase minus an R80 administration fee.
7. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract an R80 administration fee.
8. In the case of incorrect | damaged | faulty goods, please notify us within 72 hours of delivery of the product(s). Email us on firstname.lastname@example.org with a photo of the damage and keep the product(s) in the original packaging. We will make sure that the correct new | product is delivered to you.
Customised, bespoke and made-to-order items will only be exchanged if damaged or faulty. If we accept any exchanges of our non-bespoke products for other items they must be in the same condition as when purchased, not used or damaged, and returned within 7 days of purchasing them.
We will refund any purchase in the unlikely event that the item is faulty, damaged or not to our usual high-quality standard. However, please note, that due to the handmade nature and material characteristics of our products variations in colour, dimensions and finishes may occur. (We don’t do the mass production line vibe – our stuff is handmade with love, so each one will by nature be slightly different). Oh - and it must be because of something we've done.
If you are unhappy with any of the products bought from us, please notify us at email@example.com immediately. We will require you to send the products back to us within 7 days of purchase.
Please ensure you keep your proof of purchase, delivery/courier details and that all items are returned unused in their original packaging. Once we have received the products back from you, we will gladly replace your purchase or, in the case of unavailability, refund your purchase.
If the original order goes missing on it’s merry way to you, and you haven’t received your parcel within 1 month of the order, we will resend the item to you at no extra cost. (We are nice Beans!) Any complaints regarding the standard and quality of our products should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org (We know we can’t make everyone happy – but we sure do try!)
Placing a product in a shopping basket without completing the purchase cycle does not constitute an agreement of sale and/or an order for such product, and as such, The Baked Bean may remove such product from the shopping basket or if stock becomes unavailable.
If the purchase cycle is completed at a later stage and your stuff is no longer in stock, The Baked Bean cannot be held liable. An agreement of sale only comes into effect if and when: You electronically submit a properly completed order for one or more products in your shopping basket; and Payment is either authorised, or received by The Baked Bean in its bank account.
If we (The Baked Bean) do it: The Baked Bean reserves the right, to refuse to accept or process payment on any order, and/or to cancel any sale concluded between you and The Baked Bean, in whole or in part, on notice to you.
The Baked Bean shall only be liable to refund products already paid by you (see our Refund Policy), and accepts no other liability, which may arise due to such refusal to process any order/sale. By You: Our freshly Baked Bean stuff is way-cool, so not sure why you'd want to. But you are entitled to cancel any sale concluded on this Website.
Just please remember that our Beans love working so they might already have started on your order. And this means that we will have to charge you for changing your mind. So check out our cancellation penalties before you cancel. You may also cancel a sale where delivery is delayed beyond the stipulated delivery date/timeframe (or where none is specified, beyond 60 days from the anticipated delivery date). Please read the Refund Policy for further details in this regard.
Purchases from The Baked Bean The Baked Bean Products & Availability Identification of The Baked Bean products: Product listings which do not specify the name of a third party seller, are products offered for sale by The Baked Bean.
Subject to any exceptions expressly mentioned below, your payment for any products ordered from The Baked Bean must be made to us in any one of the following ways:
Credit card payments
At the time of placing the order, the transaction details are presented to the bank and payment is collected immediately. If the bank’s authorization is not obtained, the order will be cancelled. The Baked Bean may carry out certain fraud checks with the cardholder or the cardholder’s bank, should The Baked Bean be unable to verify the validity of the transaction the order will be cancelled.
Bank deposits & Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
If you select to pay via this method, instructions will be given on how to deposit money into The Baked Bean’s bank account and it would be subject to the following rules:
The exact amount must be paid.
The payment must be identified by supplying the order number and surname in the reference section of the deposit slip or on the electronic transfer.
Funds need to clear in The Baked Bean’s account for orders to be shipped.
No transfers may be made from ATM’s.
No cheque deposits will be accepted.
No bank deposits are accepted from outside the borders of South Africa.
Your order will be cancelled if you choose to pay by bank deposit and the amount due is not paid within 5 business days.

If you have made a payment via Snapscan or Zapper, there is a processing fee charged that is not refundable.
